This may not help or be your issue but I have found that certain Dynamics screens are affected by the size of the transaction log file. By truncating the size of the log file in those cases, these screens run faster. Since you are a DBA, I suspect you know how to truncate transaction logs but, if not, let me know. I only have remaining SL 7 client and they are not experiencing slow performance with those screens. The have a maintenance plan running that truncates the transaction log once a month. Then again, they do not have a large transaction volume either.
