Forum Post: RE: Application Server - Overwrite with Template Selection

Hi Jenwal,

I am unsure of a way to not allow the application server to increment file file1, file2, file3 etc. A solution to the files being overwritten would be to have the reports print to OneNote. This would create a new page for each report instead of overwriting the previous one. The one downside to this is that one of the employees would have to go in and save the reports to a file so that other employees would be able to examine them.

There seems to be no format distinction when using templates.

When you created the scheduled requests, on the ROI.exe screen did you select what you wanted printed? I am also wondering in the scheduler for the application server, on the Advanced Tab please make sure that the Template the Active Application is selected. Having this selected will template what you selected on the ROI.exe screen.
