Very generally, We are using Citrix in my largest customer's site. We have the clients for SL and MR loaded on the Citrix server to publish, then the App server is connected to via a mapped drive from the Citrix sessions.
Things that the users are going to stumble upon relate to Save File dialogs showing them drives on the Citrix box instead of their local system, so you'll have to consider that in your design.
